In November, the extended scheme took a more definite shape;
the Council entered into negotiations for the lease of Conduit House,No.
236, Trafalgar Road (which was being used as a Day Nursery
only), for a term of five years at a rent of £70 per annum, for the
purposes of a combined Day Nursery and Infant Consultation
Centre, thus enabling us to dispense with the use of Victoria Hall,
where Clinics had been held twice weekly.
The following School Clinics, Health Centres, and Infant Consultations
are also still doing very good work in the Borough:—
L.C.C. Clinic.
