on railways, in vehicular traffic and in building operations, falls,
etc., were responsible for 35 deaths.
The Suicides were 3 by cut or stab, 2 from Drowning, 1 by
Hanging and Strangulation, 1 from Asphyxia, 1 from Poison, and
1 by Shooting.
Ill-Defined Causes. There was no death the cause of which
was not ascertained in 1920.
MORTUARY. The number of bodies dealt with in the Mortuary since 1910 is shown below :—

POOR LAW RELIEF.
According to the circular of the Ministry of Health, respecting
the Annual Reports of the Medical Officers of Health, it is now
necessary that they include some reference to the amount of medical
and other forms of Poor Law Relief in the district. I have accordingly
been in communication with the Clerks to the Greenwich and
Woolwich Boards of Guardians on this subject, who have kindly
supplied the following figures:—
