Service, and live have so far been discharged as medically unfit;
as far as possible patients likely to break down have been dissuaded
from joining.

The urgent call for nurses for War Service made it impossible
for the Ranyard Association to supply the usual holiday
reliefs, therefore, during two months of the year the Dispensary
had the services of only one nurse.
