In the second report the methods of working and the functions
of the Dispensary were described at some length; so that
it will only be necessary in this report to set out the work donei,
and briefly to mention any incidents peculiar to the year.
The Dispensary has been affected, as has everything else, by
the abnormal times. The principal result has been that everyone
not absolutely incapacitated has been able to find work, and overtime
work, and insured patients in particular have been affected
by this circumstance.
The new Dispensary was opened at Maze Hill on 22nd September,
1915, and the work was transferred from Lassell Street
with as little disarrangement of the routine as possible. The new
premises have been as fully equipped and furnished as the times
permit, though much still remains to be done in this respect.
