Bones and Joints. There were no deaths from diseases of
bones and joints.
Integumentary System. There were 2 deaths from other
diseases of Integumentary System.
External Causes. There were 125 deaths given as due to
causes grouped under this heading; 119 were the result of accident
or negligence, and the remaining 6 were from Suicide.
Suffocation, by being overlaid in bed, was the cause of death
of 2 children under five years of age (compared with 4 from
this cause last year); 9 cases were from drowning, 34 by weapons
and implements, while accidents on railways, in vehicular traffic
and in building operations, falls, etc., were responsible for 74
deaths.
The Suicides were by poison in 1 case, 2 by cut or stab, 2
from Drowning and 1 by precipitation from elevated places.
Ill-Defined Causes. There was no death the cause of which
was not ascertained in 1915.
