Senile Mortality.—The deaths which occurred in Hackney at
65 years of age and upwards during 1922 numbered 1,078 and of
these 543 were between the ages of 65 and 75 years, 426 between
75 and 85 years, and 109 at 85 years and upwards. The annual
mortality rate of persons at 65 years and upwards is 4.7 per 1,000
inhabitants.
