REPORT OF FOOD INSPECTOR FOR THE YEAR 1920.
Milksliops and Dairies.—1,366 inspections were made during
the year. Four notices were served for cleansing and repairs, all of
which have been complied with. In 5 cases vendors were warned
for having dirty or unwashed measures in use. 31 new millcsellers
have been registered.
Cowhouses.—There are now 10 licensed cowkeepers with
11 sheds. Three licenses were not renewed at the last meeting of
the Licensing Committee. 128 inspections were made during the
year.
Offensive Trades.—Four visits were made to the one offensive
business in the Borough. This has now ceased to exist, the occupier
having decided to close up and the boiler and coppers have been
dismantled and removed.
Glanders.—During the year enquiries were made into two cases
of glanders.
