Dr. Brown states that two cases requiring Caesarian section
were discovered at the clinic. Both were operated upon, with the
result that both made splendid recoveries with living children.
Advice is given and medicines to suitable cases.
Every woman is carefully measured and thorough examination
carried out.
Dr. Brown points out that the numbers are increasing rapidly.
At the last attendance at the centre 24 expectant mothers presented
themselves.

Dr. Porter states that a considerable number of cases arose in
which hospital treatment was needed, and that sucn cases were
referred to the Metropolitan Hospital.
