TUBERCULOSIS.
All the tubercular diseases caused 631 deaths and were 68 above the
average of the last decennium, and were also 35 above the number registered
in 1917. The death-rate resulting from them was equal to 2.20 per 1,000 of
the civil population, and represented 10'8 per cent. of the deaths from all
causes during the year.
