DISTRICT INSPECTORS' WORK.
The reduction in the staff of the District Inspectors owing to five members
having joined the Colours has very materially affected the sanitary work of
the Department, and consequently the return of improvements effected shows
a marked decrease when contrasted with the work performed before the war.
