Fatality.—Among the 1,332 cases notified, 38 deaths were recorded,
which give a fatality of 2.8 per cent. of the cases, as contrasted with 1.2 per
cent. during the year 1914. The fatality was 0.9 per cent. more than the
average of the preceding ten years (1905-14), when it was 1.9 per cent. of the
notified cases.
From 1891 to 1900 the fatality was 3.3 per cent.
