Abdominal Tuberculosis caused 30 deaths, of which 15 occurred
among children under five years of age. Sixteen deaths occurred among
males and 14 among females. The death-rate was 0.09 per 1,000.
Tuberculosis of the Larynx. This disease was the cause of 2 deaths,
and produced a death-rate of 0 01 per 1,000.
Tubercular Meningitis.—Sixty-eight deaths were reported from it,
representing a death-rate of 0.21 per 1,000. Of the 68 deaths, 35 were males
and 33 females; while 49 were children under five years, and 19 were persons
over that age; indeed, all with six exceptions were under fifteen.
General Tuberculosis.—The deaths of 19 persons were ascribed to it,
of whom 7 had not reached their fifth year. The deaths were 12 more than in
1914, and produced a death-rate of 0 06 per 1,000.
Other forms of Tuberculosis caused 18 deaths, 4 males and 14
females, which with four exceptions were of persons above five years of age.
The death-rate was 0.05 per 1,000.
