London, and as compared with the total births
registered 10 per 1,000 less in this Borough than in
London.
DEATHS OF ILLEGITIMATE CHILDREN.
The corrected number of deaths of illegitimate
children under 1 year of age was 35, or at the rate of
265 per 1,000 illegitimate births.
The following table on infantile mortality has been
prepared by me in accordance with the direction of the
Local Government Board.
