24Much dirt19th JanuaryDead 14th FebruaryNegative locally, a few small nodules in spleen, probably pseudo-tuberculosis. The nodules are not quite like tubercle histologically, and no tubercle bacilli can be found in them ; there are, however, groups of non-acid fast bacilli resembling pseudo-tubercle. In any case I do not consider it proved that the infection was due to the milk inoculation, as no local effect was produced. I think the sample ought to be classed as negative.
