Infant Mortality.—The deaths of infants under one year of age
registered in the Borough during 1909 numbered 616. This is a
decline of 50 on the number registered during the year 1908. The
infant mortality rate therefore for the last year is 108 per 1,000
births, that for the year 1908, being 117 per 1,000 births.
