SMALL POX.
For the fourth year in succession no case of this disease was notified.
The returns as to vaccination will be found on page 148.
DIPHTHERIA AND MEMBRANOUS CROUP.
The actual number of true cases notified was 130. The number for
1907 was 127. Of the cases, 16 proved fatal (12.3 per cent, of the
cases notified). During the year 54 doubtful cases were examined
bacteriologically; 10 were postive, and 44 negative.
