FISH SUPPLIES.
243,806 Tons of fish, of which 185,872 were land-borne and 57,934
water-borne, were received at or near Billingsgate Market during the year.
Of the above, 175,487 tons were consigned to Billingsgate Market, the remainder, viz., 68,319, being delivered at the salesmen's shops in the neighbourhood of the Market.
