Under one year, the mortality was 126, a decrease of 7 as compared
with the previous year.
The following table shows that while Whooping Cough, Epidemic
Diarrhoea, and Pneumonia have contributed more deaths than in the
previous year, the diminished mortality is due to a fewer number from
Accidents, Measles, Tubercular Diseases, and other unclassified causes.
