1. Includes Small.pox, Measles, Scarlet Fever, Diphtheria, Whooping.cough, Typhus Fever, Enteric (or Typhoid) Fever,
Simple Continued Fever, and Diarrhoea. Fifty.two of the deaths occurred in Hospitals without the Borough.
3. Includes Phthisis, Scrofula, Tuberculosis, Rickets, and Tabes.
4. Includes Debility, Atrophy, Inanition, Want of Breast.milk, and Premature Birth.
5. Includes Hydrocephalus, Infantile Meningitis, Convulsions, and Teething. (In Table VIII., Hydrocephalus and
