The infant mortality rate per 1,000 births in Finsbury for the
third quarter of the years 1901-1904 was as follow:—

Broadly, therefore, it may be said that the infant mortality rate in
1904, in the third quarter (July, August and September), has been
higher than at any other time since the formation of the Borough.
