in 2 cases, insufficient sanitary accommodation 2 cases, unsuitable
or defective sanitary accommodation 16 cases, and other nuisances
20 cases. The majority of these defects have been attended to.
Outworkers' Register. Seventy-three lists of Outworkers,
containing 125 names, have been received during the year from
Medical Officers of Health for other Districts; 25 lists, containing
224 names, have been received from employers within the
District; 23 lists, containing 95 names, have been forwarded to
other Districts, thus giving a total of 254 names and addresses of
outworkers within the Borough. These premises have all been
inspected from time to time, and insanitary conditions requiring
the service of written notices have been revealed in 8 cases.
