June 17Walter Bryant, Keston, near Bromley,KentFour quarters of beef, weighing 568 lbs.—diseased. The animal (of which this meat formed the carcase) had died from parturient fever after calving. This was conclusively proved by the evidence given at the hearing of the case. The meat was badly congested and full of blood. All the glands were enlarged and badly congested.
