The disease lias during the past five years
shown a distinct tendency to increase.
The other diseases require no special comment.
NOTIFICATION FROM PORT
SANITARY AUTHORITIES
During the year 21 notifications in all were
received from the Port Sanitary Authorities
of Southampton, London, Liverpool, Bristol and
Glasgow, stating that passengers landing there
at various times from places infected with Plague
or Small-pox were on their way to the City.
The several addresses furnished were visited,
and the usual precautions taken with satisfactory
results in each instance.
