MEAT SUPPLIES.
The total quantity of meat delivered at the
Corporation Markets, Smithfield, during 1900,
amounted to 410,380 tons 1 cwt. against
405,456 tons 9 cwts. 2 qrs. in the previous year,
being an increase of 1.2 per cent. The corresponding
percentages for 1898 and 1899 were
1.73 and 1.33 respectively.
