The ranks in the Hay market and St. James's Square are
provided with Cabman's Shelters. These shelters were
provided and are maintained at private expense.
AMBULANCE STATIONS.
With the assent of the Vestry a street ambulance station,
available in case of accident, &c., was established some time
since by the Hospitals Association at the cab rank in St.
James's Square,
