The establishment was served under a contract by a Dairy Company in the Islington district, and the manager of the dairy, at my request, furnished the following list of farms from which the bulk of their supply was derived, viz.: —

Circular letters were at once dispatched to the
several Medical Officers of Health in whose
districts the above farms were situated, with a
view of securing their co-operation in enquiring
into their local and sanitary surroundings, but
in no case was any evidence obtained that implicated
the character of the milk.
No reply was received from these places.
