These institutions were opened on the 23rd of March,
1892. During the remainder of that year, 100
admissions were entered into the Mortuary,
and throughout the year 1893 a total of
152 bodies were received.

402 Inquests were held in the District, of which 184 referred
to Non-Residents and 218 to District-Residents.

The fees paid for the use of the Coroner's Court amounted to £19 12s.
