VI—LEGISLATION.
The feature of the year in sanitary legislation was the passing of the
Metropolitan Building Act, which contains numerous provisions of a sanitary
character with regard to air-space, ventilation, light, and other matters.
These are contained in Part V. of the Act, but sections 13 (5), and sections
69 and 70 are equally important.
