PREFACE.
The present Report deals with the year 1894: a
period which taxed to the utmost the resources at the
disposal of the Sanitary authority.
Since each month a printed Report of matters relating
to the health of the district is presented to the Vestry,
it was not considered necessary to go into the minute
details of the past year, the aim rather being to fulfil
statutory requirements and to present a faithful and
accurate summary of events.
In all essential features the plan of the Report is the
same as adopted in previous years.
