Annual Report on the Health of the Parish of St. Martin-in-the-Fields,
for the Year 1893.
To the Vestry of St Martin-in-the-Fields.
Gentlemen,
I have the honour of submitting to you my Twenty-fourth
Annual Report on the health and sanitary condition of the Parish.
Births.
In the year 1893 the Births numbered 223, a number still lower
than in the previous year. A gradual diminution of births in the
Parish has been going on for some years, and is due, as mentioned in
previous annual reports, to the less residential character of the district.
