Miscellaneous.
An important improvement was carried out during the
year at the north-west corner of Lincoln's Inn Fields next
Great Queen Street, a portion of the forecourts of the houses
Nos. 66 and 67 being purchased by the Board, the wall
and railings enclosing the forecouit were set back, allowing
the roadway at this spot to be widened so as to admit of
one additional vehicle passing.
