The total number of bins now in the District is 52.
Your Board has also placed additional bins for storing
shell ballast for strewing upon the asphalte and wood pavements
when their condition renders it desirable. The
following list shows the position of those in the district
at Lady-day last:—

The total cost of street cleansing for the year 1893-94 was as follows:—

Street Watering.
The watering of the public ways was performed by
contract, the contractor supplying all carts, horses and
drivers required, at a fixed price for the whole work
