certificate nor inquest. The probable causes of
death were stated to be "premature birth" (f., 1
hr.), and "pneumonia" (m., 30). Such deaths
are in this Report classed as "uncertified."
DEATHS IN INSTITUTIONS.
Of the deaths of parishioners during the year,
346 took place in the local institutions, and 156 in
outlying, making a total of 502, equal to 23.9 per
cent. of all deaths. The numbers of deaths, with
certain of the causes are set out below:-
