Steamers of the Board conveyed 7,614 passengers,
including 1,101 patients to the Hospital Ships, and
1,009 from them.
DEATHS.
The deaths registered within the Parish amounted
to 1,918 in all, viz.: 947 males and 971 females.
The uncorrected death-rate was 15.78 per 1,000 of
the estimated population, the rate for males being
18.85, and that for females, 13.62. In the subjoined
Table will be found the numbers for each
quarter of the year registered in each Sub-District,
distinguishing the sexes.
