DENSITY OF POPULATION.
The total area of the Parish, is stated in the last
Census Report, to be 1,256 statute acres, of which
17.3 are water. At the date of the Census there were
95.1 persons to the acre, whilst in 1394 the average
had risen to 98.0. In April 1891 there were 13,221
" inhabited " houses, or 10.6 houses to the acre.
In the Sub-District of St. Mary there were 105.8
persons and 11.8 houses per acre, and in that of St.
