SHELTER FOR
TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION
DURING DISINFECTION.
Public Health (London) Act 1895, Sec. 60

The premises used for the above purpose at
No. 6, Cotton Street, Aldersgate Street, were
fully described in my last year's Report.
During 1895, 28 families, comprising 47
adults and 52 children, total 99 persons were
accommodated with comfortable lodging, and
plain food.
Of the 28 families received, 12 families had
been living in one room only, for all purposes;
12 families had two rooms for their home, and
the remaining four families occupied three
rooms per family.
The diseases which necessitated their application for admission were—

Enteric Fever | 1 „ |
Small Pox | 2 „ |
28 cases. |
The recipients were orderly and well conducted.
