In Tables B and C will be found the total corrected number
of deaths and the corrected death-rates for Lambeth during
the last 10 years, whilst Table D gives the corrected deathrates
during the year 1895 in the several Registration Subdistricts,
with the corresponding birth-rates and the
corrected zymotic death-rates. It will be seen that the
Registration Sub-districts vary not only in regard to their
birth-rates, but also in regard to their death-rates (general
and zymotic). Thus, the four Inner Districts average

26.92, and a corrected zymotic death-rate of 4.57 per
1,000 as compared with 27.08, 16.37 and 1.77 per 1,000
respectively for the corresponding averages of the Outer
Districts. As we examine the various statistics of Lambeth
Parish (divided into Inner and Outer Districts only) more
