Enteric Fever.
The notifications from this disease, which had averaged 4·4 per
week in 1892, rose to 5·2.
The total certificates received numbered 270, of which 105 were
delivered in the fourth quarter. The disease was most prevalent in
proportion to population in Upper Holloway, and most fatal in proportion
to the cases notified in Islington South West. Seventy-four cases
were removed to the Metropolitan Asylums Board's Hospitals.
