DEATHS.*
There were 6,391 deaths registered in London of persons who
were parishioners of Islington. Of these 5,859 were registered in the
Parish, and 532 in other parts of London whither they had gone for
treatment in Public Institutions. The deaths comprised 3,201 males
and 3,190 females.
The death-rate was 19.45 per 1,000 of the Eestimated population,
and it exceeded that of the preceding year, when it was 17.52, by 1.93.
The following table gives the number of males, females and
persons who died at nine different age periods, together with the
estimated number of persons living at those ages, and the death-rates.
