In examining Table VII. it will at once strike even the casual
observer that not only Islington, but London, compare very unfavourably
with the Urban and Rural Districts in the proportionate number
of large tenements; for whereas in the Rural Districts 51.34 per cent.,
and in the Urban Districts 46.27 per cent. of the tenements contain
five or more rooms, in Islington it reaches only 32.10 per cent., and in
London 32.74 per cent.
