SPECIFIC FEBRILE OR ZYMOTIC DISEASES.
The total number of deaths from this group of diseases was 595,
a figure which represents about eighteen per cent, of the total
deaths from all causes. Of these deaths 425 were amongst young
children under five years of age; 152 of whom were infants.
