Workshops Act."
THE PATENT FIREWOOD CO., The Grange.—One new
water-closet provided for workpeople.
11, CROSBY ROW, Laundry.—Premises drained direct into
public sewer, new water-closet provided for women, surface of
yard and workroom concreted.
MESSRS. BEDFORD & STEER, Wireworkers, Long Lane.—
Water-closet reconstructed, urinal accommodation, and one extra
water-closet provided.
MESSRS. FISHER, Leather Manufacturers, Tanner Street. —
Drains reconstructed, workshops paved, drained, cleansed, and
whitewashed, water-closets reconstructed and furnished with
water and apparatus for flushing.
MESSRS. SALING, Leather Manufacturers, Tyer's Gateway.—
Workshops paved, drained, cleansed, and whitewashed ; two new
water-closets provided for use of men, old privies in workshops
abolished.
MESSRS. BROOKS, Tarpaulin Makers, Mellick's Place.—
Drains and water-closet reconstructed, yard repaved, water supply
and apparatus provided to water-closet.
MR. C. ALLDEN, Wood Turner, 181, Drummond Road.—
Workshops and water-closets cleansed and whitewashed, skylights
made to open for ventilation.
MESSRS. HARRIS & SMITHERS, Leather Manufacturers,
Blue Anchor Lane. —Workshops cleansed and whitewashed, waterclosets
reconstructed and furnished with water and apparatus for
flushing.
MESSRS. MARSHALL & CLARK, Leather Manufacturers,
Grange Walk. —Drains and water-closets reconstructed, waterclosets
furnished with water and apparatus for flushing, yard
repaved, workshops cleansed and whitewashed, foul and disused
tanpits emptied and filled up with dry rubbish.
