COFFEE.
Twenty per cent. of the 10 samples of Coffee were found to be
adulterated by admixture with Chicory, No. 51 containing at
least 25 per cent., and No. 21 at least 30 per cent. of the
adulterant.
MUSTARD.
One of the 12 (9ยท09 per cent.) samples of mustard was adulterated,
No. C/3 67, containing at least 12 per cent. of starch.
LARD.
Six samples were examined-one (16.66 per cent.) No. C/3 66
being adulterated with at least 15 per cent of cotton seed oil.
BREAD, FLOUR, SAUSAGES, etc.
The remaining samples were all certified to be "not adulterated."
