was again quite satisfactorily carried out, but we very
much need an observation ward in which doubtful cases
could be treated and watched until the diagnosis is
assured. Perhaps the Council will be able to make some
arrangement for this purpose. It would be a great help
to me sometimes in dealing with doubtful cases, and any
assistance or advice I can offer in order to effect this
purpose will be most willingly supplied.
Premises which have been occupied by persons suffering
with consumption or cancer are disinfected by the
Inspector free of charge if the cases are reported to the
Sanitary Officer.
Details of work done in this connection and others
are furnished by the Sanitary Inspector in tables appended
to the end of this Report.
