The work of the Maternity and Child Welfare is carried
out by the Middlesex County Council under the supervision of
Dr. C.W.F. Young, the County Medical Officer of Health.
A centre in Edgware is available for Kingsbury and by
an arrangement with the Hendon Urban District Council, the
Centre at West Handon serves that Portion of the District
which is contiguous with Hendon. This arrangement provides
a centre within easy distance of all parts of the District.
Under the Notification of Births Act, 52 notifications
were received and lists of the same were forwarded to the County
Medical Officer of Health.
