INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
(a) Milk Supply.
Since my last Report, land belonging to one of the few
remaining cowkeepers has been taken for building and the
cowsheds pulled down. There are now only three cowkeepers
in the District, and these have received the usual
periodical inspection. I have no complaint to make as to
their condition.
(b) Meat and Other Foods.
No slaughtering is done in the District. The various
food shops have received attention, and it has not been found
necesssary to take any acton.
