GENERAL PROVISION OF HEALTH
SERVICES FOR THE AREA.
1. (i.) Public Health Officers of the Local Authority.
The Public Health Officers of the Local Authority
are enumerated at the commencement of my Report.
The Department lost the services of the Senior
Sanitary Inspector, Mr. C. C. Orwin, who obtained the
appointment of County Sanitary Inspector to Lindsey
County Council. Mr. Orwin was responsible to a very
large extent for advances in many phases of work, notably
clean milk production, meat inspection and the
control of the large refuse dumps along the bank of the
Thames. The benefits of his activities remain in the
district as a testimonial to his zeal and ability.
(ii) (a) Laboratory Facilities.
These were outlined in my Report for 1934, and
no change has taken place.
