SCAVENGING.
The scavenging departments in the several
parishes of Chadwell-St.-Mary, Little Thurrock,
Stanford-le-Hope, South Ockendon, Stifford,
Purfleet and West Thurrock are all under my
supervision.
In the parishes of Purfleet and West Thurrock
the work has increased so rapidly that I have had
to ask the Council for another sewage van to assist
in keeping up with the increased work.
