In Clapham 67 cases occurred at Telferscot Road School and
42 at Cavendish Road; in Putney 44 cases occurred at Hotham
Road School; in Streatham 41 cases occurred at Mitcham Lane
School, and 35 at Smallwood Road; in Tooting 68 cases occurred
at Sellincourt Road School, and 40 at The Ensham; and in
Wandsworth the Earlsfield and Waldron Road Schools were
chiefly affected, with 71 cases in each.
The number of dwellings in each sub-district and the whole
Borough in which multiple cases occurred is shown in the following
Table:—

Of the 1,642 houses invaded, multiple cases occurred in 230,
or 14 per cent.

This disease was very prevalent during the year, especially
in January, October, November, and December.
