the scale and there was need for extra milk, were supplied with
milk at half cost.
From July onwards more dried milk has been supplied than
fresh milk, the amount being limited to 1 lb. per week for expectant
and nursing mothers and children between the ages of 18
months and three years, infants being allowed 1½ lbs. per week.
This milk was supplied through Infant Welfare Centres.

During 1921, 1,101 families were supplied with free milk at a cost to the Borough Council of £3,213 14s. 4d.

In five instances dried milk was supplied at half cost.
